Shorty Bulls were created and trademarked by Jamie Sweet and Amy Krogman.They are a novelty breed developed as a companion animal. Shorty Bulls can be registered with Bully Breed Coalition which was started as a database to track all Shorty Bulls. When the Shorty Bull is registered with BBCR they are eligible for a double registration with American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC).Only registered dogs are eligible for competing in BBCR and ABKC events.
American Bully Kennel Club was created to register and validate growing Bully Breed. ABKC gives the dogs and their owner’s a way to show off the breed and to compete. ABKC is a worldwide registry that provides pedigrees for Bully Breed.
Today, the Shorty Bull is five generations bred true. In all the breeding that was done, there have been no exceptions in quality and in vision. When the breeding program was started, the goal was to end up with a bulldog in every sense. That is the reason why there was no outside crossing of either Boston Terrieror Pug.This time was worthwhile for the foundation because only bully breeds were used to create a Shorty Bull.
Shorty Bull is a small bully breed that retains true bulldog temperament and classic bulldog looks.Shorty Bulls are active, energetic and do not have major health problems.
They whelp their own litters.
